Pam Minnich

Pam Minnich is a native of Knoxville and is a graduate of Central High School. She studied Music Theory and Composition at the University of Tennessee and has published many compositions for both keyboard and handbells.

Pam was instrumental in founding the handbell choir at Eastminster and shares her many talents in a variety of ways, including working with the youth, special programs, and wonderfully creative offertory music. Some of Pam’s comedy routines at the Shared Hearts Banquet are legendary.

Pam started her career as a church organist at the tender age of 14, and has served in several churches in Knox County as well as churches in Hamblen County.

Pam’s hobbies include reading, photography, and crafts. Pam has a husband, Chris, and 5 children. She also has 2 grandchildren.

Pam’s goal as the Minister of Worship is to lift up the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and she has a personal desire to walk with Him, know him, and serve Him all the days of her life.

Kathryn Hawthorne

Kathryn is a long time member of Eastminster, having practically grown up in the youth group here at the church. Kathryn’s mother and father, Karen and Walter Hawthorne, served as our Ministers of Music for many years, and have passed their many talents down to their daughter as she continues their legacy. Her former youth leaders have often described Kathryn as having “the voice of an Angel.”

Kathryn received a home school education up through high school. Upon graduation she continued her education by earning a degree in Vocal Performance from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree of Church Music at Lee University.

Kathryn is married to Daniel Bussell and they have two lovely daughters, Bella and Bitsy.
